Andrew Midgett
Andrew Midgett is an associate with the law firm of Short & Billy, PC.
He received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from the Louisiana State University Ogden Honors College (2007), and his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School (2010).
Mr. Midgett is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Prior to joining Short and Billy in February of 2020, Mr. Midgett spent approximately four years as a corporate restructuring attorney and six years as a civil litigator, with extensive experience before federal as well as state courts. His practice has included the prosecution of civil racketeering actions for insurance fraud, SIPC and Chapter 11 corporate reorganization, and enforcement of judgments and liens.
