Chris O'Donnell

Chris O’Donnell graduated form Hunter College in 1992 and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1996.

 

He went to work for the Bronx County District Attorney's Office in September of 1996, and was admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey in 1997.

 

Mr. O’Donnell spent approximately 5 1/2 years at the District Attorney's Office, where he worked in various bureaus, spent about one year in the Criminal Court Bureau where he handled various misdemeanor matters and then spent 1 1/2 years in the Grand Jury Bureau negotiating pre-indictment pleas and presenting felony cases to the Grand Jury for indictment. Chris O’Donnell then spent approximately one year in the Asset Forfeiture Bureau, working on civil lawsuits to recover the proceeds of criminal activity. From there Mr. O’Donnell spent two years in the Narcotics Bureau, handling felony matters from inception, including prosecuting a number of cases through jury trials.

 

Chris O’Donnell began working at Short & Billy, P.C. in October of 2003.
